We’re delighted to have been awarded onto the new DfE’s IMLS framework

Advanced Learning is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a framework agreement contract to provide information management and learning services (IMLS) by the Government Procurement Service for the Department of Education. The award covers both Information Management and Learning Services solutions.

Mohamad Djahanbakhsh, Advanced Learning’s Managing Director stated:

“We are delighted to have been selected and awarded the framework agreement to be a provider of information management and learning services.  We believe that in these austere times, it is vital for schools to get value for money from their information systems and the new framework encourages this.

Empowering schools with the freedom to choose their MIS and their learning platform is crucial especially as changes in school structures have led to shifts in accountability and support for school leaders.  Schools need to take a holistic view when changing systems and pivotal to this is the need to see that it can bring about fundamental change that incorporates the school’s improvement plan.  This framework provides school leaders with options allowing them to select the solution that best meets the requirements of their school.

Advanced Learning welcomes the opportunity that the award of the DfE framework presents and looks forward to developing stronger relationships with schools and academies to show the benefits of Progresso.”

Advanced Learning is strongly committed to sustained investment in the education market and to raising standards in schools through innovation in new technology.  This is demonstrated in its latest innovative management information system – Progresso.  Built from the ground up in collaboration with many school users Progresso is designed to support school improvement and enable transformation of the delivery of education in modern 21st century schools. Progresso is available as a fully hosted service or as a local network deployment, and exploits all the benefits of modern web and mobile technologies.

We believe that by adopting hosted solutions and services schools will be able to drive down the total cost of ownership and therefore release precious budget.  By working with a supplier that can host, as well as support ICT solutions and services, schools will benefit tremendously from efficiency savings.  Schools can then drive improvement by focusing their time on embedding ICT into teaching and learning rather than managing technology.

Advanced Learning welcomes the opportunity that the award of the DfE framework presents and looks forward to building stronger relationships with schools and academies to show the benefits of Progresso.  To explore the opportunity to work in partnership with your school and for more information about Progresso, please contact the Advanced Learning team today on 08456 888 500 or e-mail learning.enquiries@advancedcomputersoftware.com
